I can't (and won't) speak for them but clearly they found a vibe in Mary Poppins that they felt matched the Sgt. Pepper album.

I take it one step further by showing how The Beatles used/sampled various scenes in the film to write the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

So, clearly I'm showing a different viewpoint. I'm definitely not getting into a 'I'm right therefore someone else must be wrong' sort of thing.
