While the elements of lyrics did match the mood and theme of the movie, there was weak direct correlation betwixt the two. I give it a "B" because I would expect tighter synchage especially when given the option to cut and paste different portions of the movie to make it fit better.

I do understand that you mean the musician is drawing insiration from the movie and that it does not have to be a direct match of the two. And I do think Andrew and Todd were thinking along the same lines as you. It happens all the time here.
