Site Issues/Feedback

I stumbled upon this site a few years ago and was fascinated by the number and quality of the synchs included on the site. A couple of years went by and I went searching for this site again by the same name and found that it has changed. The site looks nice, but doesn't have nearly the amount or the quality of the synchs that were once on it. I guess my only question is, are all of the old synchs going to return to the site?

old/new synchs

Rest assured, all of the old synchs do still exist, I have multiple backup copies of the old database. However, they don't really lend themselves well to the newer site format... getting them up entails some recoding once they're loaded into the new site. This is made more complicated by the fact that after about the 1st six months on the old DB code, I stopped doing manual clean-up at the time, and there is a lot of crudded up entries. I've caught up approximately to that six month mark now on loading those old synchs, which leaves about a year and a half worth of material to go through, but it takes 3 times as long now. And honestly, I have been a little busy lately, so haven't done much with it.

I am slowly working my way through it... all of the old synchs will return eventually.

Also, the new DB is once again open to submissions from any member. In order to keep the new DB clean, a submission does require approval to "go live", and I've been doing a little clean-up on entries as they come in too. But so far, not many people have used the new submission tool. If you have any questions about how to use it, please let me know... I think it's just been so long now since submissions were open, that people might not know about the re-opening.

peace,
