Call for volunteers/suggestions?

So, I thought I'd go ahead and make this a public question for the community. I'm looking for some volunteers on who would like to go next for my podcast interviews, or for suggestions on who you'd like to hear more from, from within the community. I'd like to try tackling a "live" podcast, at least in the sense of recording a phone call interview, although the recording method has worked pretty well, and am also looking to get away from the computer voices a bit.

I'm also open to suggestions on topics or things people would like to see more of within the podcasts too. Basically I just thought I'd open it up for feedback or requests a bit here...

Pod Cast Nominee

I would like to read what Andrew and Stase Wendland have to say. Does Stase synch that much? If I ever had a wed page, it would have looked like Andrew's original web site.

TL had a great addition to the syncher's anthology and I would like to read his interveiw too.

2 More Nominations

Well, not surprisingly, when you post your phone number on the www, you must WANT phone calls, right? So every week I talk to "The Anomaly" and the former member known as "O". I think both of those guys would be excellent interviews.

"The Anomaly" is only 16 years old and has come up with some combinations that rival my own: "Poltergeist" with Breaking Benjamin - "We Are Not Alone", "Night at the Opera" with "Night at the Museum", Styx - "Pieces of Eight" with "8 Mile" ... We talk "Rainbow Connection" and trade ideas every Sunday afternoon.

Then there's former member citizen "O", who's obsessed and deranged just like me. While I contend "The Devil" made me do it, he's convinced there's a master computer somewhere and "they" know all about this sync phenomenon and are trying to cover it up. Get him to tell you about "OK, Thank You".

BTW, good job Arkiver and everyone who has participated so far. Though I haven't commented recently, I do keep up with developments on the Arkive. (And apparently so do the guys at Rolling Stone, so say nice things... LOL Smiling )

You still have a ton more candidates, depending on how ambitious you want to get. Check out your sync links page! You know, just a suggestion...

Glad for the nominations and that you've liked what's been up so far. I did feel like I had to respond to the nomination of O. At this time, based on his past track record of bad behavior with the community, I'm afraid I can't really accept him as a serious candidate. And this is for him as much as to reply to your nomination of him. If O really wants to engage with the community, instead of just insulting people and trying to browbeat people into taking him seriously, then I would consider him... but I haven't seen any evidence of real change on his part, with his recent attempts to get back into the community. Until I see something that proves to me he isn't going to revert to that type, I can't really allow his participation in the Arkive. His previous incursions were just too damaging.

I am working my way down the Synch Links page as well, for candidates, and there are certainly a lot. I just thought I'd take a quick check to see who all the community would most like to see...

...and in addition to Looney & Leighton, maybe you, Jay, would give some consideration to doing one. Maybe a trio of 'newer blood' interviews, or something. Just a thought.

I hope they don't disapprove of the nomination, but I would love to see/hear a podcast from Looney Runes or Leighton. There is another but I think he'll contact YOU.... Eye-wink
