Synchronicity Arkive

The Ghostrider's Intolerance

Mood:
vengeful
Approx. Running Time:
1.5 hours

Ingredients

  • Ghostrider DVD
  • Undertow CD by TOOL
Setup Instructions
Same as the other synch I submitted for the movie with TOOL's 10,000 Days album: Start the CD just as the Crystal Sky logo fades out at the start of the movie.
Source:
Lyrics to BOTTOM - "I set my head on fire And smell my soul is burning."
Additional Notes
I still think the other synch is a bit better as far as movements sync'ed with the music, but this one gets better a little ways into it, and the lyrics all fit quite nicely.

Things just come in (motor)cycles...lol

Actually, I have a lengthy set of blogs on my MySpace page detailing the unending coincidences and synchronicities that occur to me on a daily basis. I believe that the phenomenon (in real life situations, not just limited to quirky and questionable movie-and-music synchs) is somehow related to psychic channeling...
I actually had a dream about this movie (as I have with several other movies used in my synchs) several weeks before I ever watched it.

Anyways, one of my younger readers got interested in my little hobby and somehow discovered the synch-up of this movie with 10,000 Days. A few days after watching it, I was in a really bad funk and went to lay down for a minute and clear my head, and while sort of meditating the lyrics to "Bottom" started going thru my head. The whole flaming head thing made it seem like a perfect match.
This was the second or third synch that just randomly came to me during meditation. Each new synch I find seems to reflect something that was going on in my life at the particular time I found it.
