White Whales of Synchronicity

Synchronicity Discussion

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering as far as synchs you've attempted, which films or cd's are still turning you blue in the face trying to find a pairing for or your "White Whale" so to speak? Here are a few of mine.

Films:
Neighbors (1981)
3 o'clock High (1987)
The Howling (1981)
Amadeus (1984)
The Hunger (1983)
The World According To Garp (1982)
Angel Heart (1987)
Time Bandits (1981) "something by George Harrison" obviously?
Inframan (1975)
Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983)
Dr. Strangelove:or HILTSW&LTB (1964)

Music:
Jellyfish "Spilt milk" (1993)
Jellyfish "Bellybutton" (1990)
RUSH "Caress of Steel" (1975)
Ry Cooder "Mambo Sinuendo" (2003)
Mazzy Star "So Tonight That I Might See" (1993)
The Church "StarFish" (1988)
The Dead Milkmen "Beelzebubba" (1988)
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion "Orange" (1994)
Tom Waits "Blue Valentine" (1978)
Nick Drake "Pink Moon" (1972)
Nick Drake "Bryter Layter" (1970)
Elvis Costello "When I Was Cruel" (2002)

Just a few mind you. Anyway...whats yours? - 'Dingo

There are some movies that are just short enough for one album playthrough of a longer cd. Ive had zero luck with all my attempts for Primer, and not much more with PI (I do love the Fragile PI from the old arkive, though). Every Mars Volta cd sounds like a movie and they even have movie poster font on the cd cases, but I haven't found anything for amputecture . Their new cd might shed some light on a multi cd synch. I know the flaming lips are into synching because of them using 2001 footage at their show, but I haven't found much in my own experiments. Hmmmmm... soft buletin + primer perhaps?

Soft Gordon / Flash Bulletin

Yeah...Dave Bytor has a synch using the Soft Bulletin. That album is great. I recently tried The Soft Bulletin with Flash Gordon (1980) which seemed promising at 1st then.....down hill fast.
